So often we don’t really think about what’s behind the names of our streets, neighborhoods and landmarks. But let’s do so together! These names reflect people and events that have shaped Boston. In this illustrated talk, we’ll virtually travel around the city and delve into some of the names that mark our street signs, buildings, and other places of note. History will come alive in ways that enrich our sense of place and illuminate connections between the past and present. Instructor: Elizabeth Merrick
