You don’t need high-proof and expensive spirits to mix up show-stopping cocktails. In this class we’ll make delicious wine cocktails using moderately priced sparkling and still wines, as well as fruits, juices and other spirits. The cocktails will include a classic sparkling wine cocktail made with bitters, a variation on a Royal Kir, an elderberry flavored Hugo, a strawberry Frosé, plus assorted wine fizzes made with interesting amoros, still wines and fruit. Friday, 6-8pm. Aug. 16. The cost of tuition includes all beverage materials and fees.
