Every Second Sunday from June to November the Golden Ball Tavern Museum will be holding our popular “Second Sunday” Open House from 1-3 p.m. Come take a peek inside the pre-Revolutionary world of colonial Boston. Here you will find over 200 years of Jones family history, stories and artifacts.
At the Golden Ball Tavern in Weston Tory ties and British Spies were on tap and trouble was brewing. See where General Gage’s men stayed and strategized during a reconnaissance mission in 1775 just prior to the outbreak of war. Learn about the “other” tea party that took place at the Golden Ball three months after the Boston Tea Party in 1774. And the visit of Paul Revere's men! Our knowledgeable and friendly tour guides will lead tours through the house and answer questions about the museum. It is a truly personal experience which is free and family friendly!
The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is located at 662 Boston Post Rd., Weston, MA. We are entirely self-sustaining. The museum is listed on the National Historic Register
