What's it like to make wines in central Mexico? You can find out at this Tuesday's Winemaker Series with Aaron Huertas of Tres Raíces. Based in Guanajuato, just an hour from Mexico City, this winery is far further south than most of the world's grape-growing regions, but the high elevation makes viticulture possible. In fact, grapes have been grown here since the 16th century! There's lots of twists and turns in the history of winemaking in Guanajuato, but now central Mexico is one of the world's most exciting emerging wine regions. And you can hear all about it from a winemaker right in the middle of it all. Oh, and get to taste a bunch of his wines, too! The food for the evening will come from our new neighbor The Painted Burro. Sign up here.
