We're thrilled to announce our new monthly fundraiser series, GROOVES FOR GOOD! Each month, we'll be partnering up with a non-profit organization and raising funds for them with a DANCE PARTY at the Aeronaut Cannery! We'll be supporting our monthly non-profit partner with a donation from an Aeronaut, as well as encouraging guests to donate to the cause onsite!
.
Join us and DJ Donuts and Saucy Lady on SATURDAY (4/1) at 8pm as we dedicate our second Grooves for Good event to Art Lab Everett. In process of rebranding themselves as Arts for Everett, Inc., this incredible non-profit supports the growth and development of the arts in Everett by providing a physical space dedicated to the arts, creating arts events in public spaces and collaborating with organizations throughout Greater Boston to enrich the lives of Everett residents. The lab is a place of experimentation, emphasizing process over product while at the same time encouraging skill development and creativity. In order to provide arts opportunities to those generally excluded by cost, they have joined the Card to Culture program sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance. Art Lab Everett also offers free arts programming to Everett's residents who could not otherwise afford to participate.
Art Lab Everett will be onsite to help YOU make some art worth DANCING about! They'll be hosting a gel plate printing session during the party-- teaching you an easy way to create small art pieces! Using stencils and objects we'll create basic abstract prints that you can send as a postcard or that you will want to hang on your fridge as soon as you get home!

Not your ordinary Top 40 DJ, DONUTS skates the line between pop and underground to create fresh sounding sets just about everyone can enjoy. Beats, Rock, Dancehall, EDM, Hip-Hop, Indie, Latin/Afro, DISCO, House, Soul/R&B, anything funky – what the room needs, DONUTS supplies it. He bought his first pair of turntables in 2008 by delivering pizzas in Burlington, VT and listening to Donna Summer on repeat. Now in Boston since 2012, you can find him spinning all vinyl sets in bars/clubs around town or private events/pop-ups throughout New England.
