In the late 1960s and early 1970s, photographer Dennis Feldman traveled to 49 states to document disparate scenes of American life, paying close attention to the television’s pervasiveness in domestic and commercial environments. Join Jackson Davidow as he considers the Harvard-educated artist’s motivations for the project, as well as the centrality of television in American culture.

Led by:

Jackson Davidow, John R. and Barbara Robinson Family Curatorial Fellow in Photography
