Make this year’s fifth of May the most delicious party ever!
Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration to commemorate the anniversary of Mexico’s 1862 victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla. In the U.S., the day is celebrated with a feast of Mexican cuisine, shared with family and friends. In this hands-on class, Chef Thi will teach you to craft Vegetable Tamales, Marinated Shrimp Tostadas, Mexican Rice, Rojo Sauce, and Salsa Macha.

Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 6 people required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
