Presenting the 28th Cambridge Carnival International!
The Cambridge Carnival is BACK and better than ever! The festival takes place on Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at University Park Commons, Cambridge MA, from 11am-5pm. As we honor years of diversity and celebration, the Cambridge Carnival provides a fun and festive atmosphere rooted in Caribbean and African traditions. The festival will showcase cultural performances, arts & crafts vendors, a variety of food selections, steel pan performances, and an inspired production of cultural dance and music via a costume parade. The Carnival attracts people from all over and is known to be the largest event in Cambridge!
The parade kicks off at 12:30pm on Blackstone Street and River Street, continues on to Massachusetts Avenue, turns right onto Sidney Street, and ends at the University Park Commons. The International Stage and Viewing Stand will feature live music, and there will be steel pan performances and a KidsFest area with free interactive activities for children.
