Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. All readings take place in person at 56 Brattle Street on Mondays at 8pm. Admission is $5 and tickets are available at the door.
Suzanne Buffam
Suzanne Buffam is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently A Pillow Book (Canarium Press, 2016). Her work has recently appeared in Harper's, The New York Review of Books, and The New York Times. Born and raised in Canada, she teaches Creative Writing at the University of Chicago.
Valerie Duff
Valerie Duff 's first book, To the New World (Salmon Poetry, 2010), was shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney First Collection Poetry Prize from Queens University, Belfast. Her newest book is Aquamarine. She works as a writer at Harvard Kennedy School.
