Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. In person readings will take place at 56 Brattle on Mondays at 8pm. Admission is $3. Please register in advance.
Andrea Cohen
Andrea Cohen is the author of seven poetry collections, including, most recently, Everything. A new collection, The Sorrow Apartments, is forthcoming from Four Way Books. Her poems and stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, The Threepenny Review, The Atlantic Monthly and elsewhere. Her awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship and several fellowships to MacDowell. She directs the Blacksmith House Poetry Series in Cambridge, MA, and is teaching at Boston University in the fall of 2022.
Nick Flynn
Nick Flynn is the author of four previous poetry books, including My Feelings and Some Ether, which won the PEN/Joyce Osterweil Award, and three memoirs, including Another Bullshit Night in Suck City. He teaches at the University of Houston and lives in New York.
