Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. All readings take place in person at 56 Brattle Street on Mondays at 8pm. Admission is $5 and tickets are available at the door.
Geoffrey Brock
Geoffrey Brock is the author of three books of poems, including the forthcoming After. He is the editor of The FSG Book of 20th-Century Italian Poetry and the translator of numerous books of poetry, prose, and comics, most recently Giuseppe Ungaretti's Allegria, which won the National Translation Award for Poetry, and Chantal Montellier's Social Fiction.
Elisa Gonzalez
Elisa Gonzalez is a poet, essayist, and fiction writer whose work appears in The New Yorker and elsewhere. In addition to her debut poetry collection, Grand Tour, she is at work on a novel, The Awakenings, and a nonfiction book, Strangers on Earth, both forthcoming from FSG.
