The New England Tour de Cure is part of the Tour de Cure series of fundraising cycling events around the country that benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour takes place Sunday, Aug. 21, with a Start/Finish and Festival at the headquarters of Fractyl Health, 17 Hartwell Ave., Lexington, Mass.
Tour de Cure has supported ADA efforts to advocate on behalf of over 37 million Americans living with diabetes, fund research to bring us closer to a cure and provide resources to health care professionals and anyone impacted by this disease.
Routes for cyclists from novice to experienced travel through this historic and scenic area with signage and markings to guide the way. All routes feature well-stocked rest stops with mechanics, and support vehicles and volunteers on the road. Route distances include: 15 miles, 30 miles, 62 miles and 100 miles.
Registration fee is USD 10, with a USD 250 fundraising minimum, USD 50 for participants under 18. There is also a free Bike Rodeo for kids under 12 accompanied by parents.
After the ride, enjoy lunch at the Tour Festival at Fractyl Health with games, music and a Community Health Expo. All participants raising the minimum or more will receive a Tour de Cure T-shirt. There are additional gifts for reaching higher fundraising levels.
Register today at www.diabetes.org/tdcnewengland. Questions? Contact Tim Wilson at [email protected].
You can also participate in Tour and support the ADA mission as a volunteer. Please go to https://signup.com/go/2022NewEnglandTour to see the many volunteer opportunities at the festival site, along the route and at our six rest stops.
