A Picnic for Two in the South of France Countryside

If you can’t be in the South of France on July 13th join us for a fun filled and instructive experience! Learn how to prepare an authentic South of France Picnic. Included are various olives, cheeses, and fruits; a Tapenade and a Tomatade spreads on freshly baked Baguettes; a bright Salade Provinciale de Pois Chiches (Chickpea Salad) and a colorful Salade de Campagne Française avec Vinaigrette au Citron et à Dijon (French Country Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing). Main dishes include a classic Pissaladière and a tempting Tarte au Chèvre. Save room for dessert - a Gâteau à l'orange (Orange Cake) and don’t forget a bottle of the Bubbly or maybe a chilled Rosé! What to expect.… Working with teams, you will be learning how to create an attractive picnic spread with ready made appetizers and prepare other dishes using provided recipes.Included in the class is a recipe packet (both printed and .pdf file sent after class) listing tools needed, and recipes for items made in class.
